Yom Hashoa

On Thursday, April 19, Jews around the world will observe Yom HaShoah—Holocaust Remembrance Day, the horrors of the Holocaust are something that many do not want to think about, but we must remember. It is a fact, one that many countries and people are trying to deny ever happened. History books are re-written leaving out the many atrocities committed against the Jewish people. It happened though and 6 million+ Jews died. We as Christians have to choose to remember, we must tell are children, talk to our friends and family about this part of history. Don't kid yourself that something like this could never happen again or that in America history wouldn't be re-written. It can and has in places...but only when we as Christians refuse to be heard. I for one will be heard, weather by my voice, vote, or both. Remember Isaiah 62:1 -

"Because I love Zion,
I will not keep still.
Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem,
I cannot remain silent.
I will not stop praying for her
until her righteousness shines like the dawn,
and her salvation blazes like a burning torch."
